COVID-19 Information
Dear Clients & Prospective Clients -
Thank you for visiting my website. As a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and provider of services for children, my family's health and your family's health are very important to me. Thus, I have created this section to address topics related to COVID-19. If, after reading this section, you have any additional questions on safety procedures implemented before, during, and/or after Psychoeducational Testing, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I have two COVID-19 vaccine doses and two booster shots. I am currently seeing children ages 5-17 for in-person Psychoeducational Testing. Parent interview and feedback sessions may be held in person or on line, I leave this decision up to families. Our office follows the precautions and preventative measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as they apply to our small office setting. We regularly update safety practices in the office during the current COVID-19 pandemic informed by updates to the City of St. Petersburg ordinances, as well as the best practice guidelines offered by the World Health Organization (WHO), and professional organizations such as the American Psychological Association (APA), the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), and the Florida Association of School Psychologists (FASP).

Given the new information coming out on COVID-19 on a regular basis and changes in the incidence of COVID-19 in our Pinellas County community, I am prepared to make adjustments to scheduled appointments as needed.

Resources for Mental Health Providers (MHPs)
&

In the Spring of 2020 I began researching COVID-19 hygiene & safety practices as we prepared to re-open our Carella & Associates, LLC offices. My research evolved into writing a 1 hour CE credit course for mental health providers offering in-person mental health services in their private practice offices. I also developed editable clinical intake forms addressing
COVID-19 safety protocols and procedures. My research lead me to partner with Zur Institute, an online CE provider for Psychologists, Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs), Social Workers (SWs), Professional Counselors (PCs), and other Mental Health Professionals.
If you are a Mental Health Provider offering in-person mental health and/or psychological testing services, I invite you to learn more about COVID-19 resources by visiting the Zur Institute website (www.ZurInstitute.com).
